at CHPC is celebrated each Sunday at 10:30
am.
Communion is celebrated the
first Sunday of each month, and the
third Sunday of each month begins with a hymn sing with favorite
selections chosen from our worship resources.
Seasons
of the Church Year & Special Services of worship including
communion observed for Ash Wednesday, Maundy
Thursday, Easter, and Christmas Eve punctuate the rhythm of our weekly
celebration of the Lord's Day. An ecumenical Thanksgiving
service is often shared with neighboring congregations.
Childcare is provided for
children birth to age 9.
Music
at CHPC
The Chancel Choir provides
music leadership in worship September through mid-June. They
meet for rehearsal, prayer, and fellowship Wednesday evenings from
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm during their season and plan special events on a
annual schedule. Congregational
Singing is central to reformed worship and our congregation
sings a wide variety of traditional & contemporary hymns and
songs, including music from the breadth of global resources.
Our Third Sunday Hymn Sing encourages enthusiastic participation
and ongoing music development.
An Annual Schedule of Concerts &
Special events is a regular feature of the opportunities at CHPC
and we appreciate our many building partners who join in these
