Ministries of Health and Healing

Much of Jesus ministry focused on healing.  The word in scripture often translated  as salvation (sozo) is also the word for  wholeness.  In February of 2007 PUN Commissioned a parish nurse for 8 small urban congregations in Portland's Eastside.  Our parish nurse works with us to strengthen our congregation's knowledge and practice of wellness and preventive health care as we offer opportunities focused on health and healing to our surrounding neighborhoods.  Judy Hubbard is available to the community the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 9:00am to 11:30 am.  This emerging ministry is an exciting venture for CHPC.  Come share with us your ideas and dreams for healing in the community.
